Prejudice is the worst side effect.

The message this year on World Aids Day is that HIV and Aids sufferers still have to contend with ignorance and prejudice every day if their lives. We brought this message to the streets of Copenhagen this afternoon with a special event. It's always great to work with people who care passionately about the work they do and the staff at Aids Fondet (The Danish Aids charity) really are committed to their cause. The girl in the bubble endured freezing temperatures and the odd drunk, who insisted on kicking the ball, to get across their important message. The event also managed to make national news, which is great for everyone involved.

Nice idea...there should be more awareness programs for real good causes such as poverty and the likes too.

I am trying to find out who murdered a nine year old girl named Phyllis Dean Carver. She was murdered in Jefferson County, Alabama in April of 1949. A cousin was arrested for the murder seeral years later but he was cleared in 1959. I seem to remember that some one turned themselves in years later but I don't remember who or when.

Everything matters! That's a perfect phrase for the reality I tried to get at: "mattering" (alias meaning) somehow winning out even when things seem random. Or when they grow out of mistakes (or out of some small, distant move or misstep). The girl inside the bubble idea. I love it ! It should be taken as a really good example in society regarding people and their attitude...and this should eventually change.
